Free VST - Foo-YC20

Foo-YC20 is a physical modelling combo organ synthesizer. This synth is an accurate copy of the Yamaha YC20 organ, including some of the flaws found in such instruments. This project is open source and the processing code is written in a functional DSP language called FAUST.

The organ is available for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. In addition to a standalone JACK client, there's an LV2 plug-in for Linux and VSTi for Mac OS X and Windows.

Charlatan is a polyphonic, subtractive virtual analog software synthesizer plugin whose design focuses on sound quality and easy usability. Requires registration and it's quite complicated process (i think that this synth is worth to download, although it is slightly difficult to get). You don't have to wait any Serial Number/RegCode, it doesn't need them (actually it doesn't even give any). Just install and it enjoy.

Free VST - Brainworx - bx_cleansweep

bx_cleansweep is a Hi-Pass filter and Lo-Pass filter plug-in featuring "Anti Crush Technology". It offers analog-style filter curves, without the typical Nyquist problems, in a filter design taken from Brainworx's pro mastering EQ bx_digital V2. First order filters (6 dB) guarantee a musically sounding filter set and unique joystick control (taken from bx_hybrid) gives you fast and intuitive control. 

Clever shortcuts (Alt/Shift/Ctrl) allow for detailed control over the X-axis and Y-axis of the joystick, and the EQ knobs can be set to precision mode by shift-click as well. 

Brainworx says that bx_cleansweep is the plug-in that should go into EVERY mix channel as the first plug-in. This way you can filter out any unwanted hi-end and lo-end and the result is a clean and tight mix.
